| Centre Stage For The DJ Formerly Known As 'Lard'. It has now been over a month since Mark Riley begun his Saturday afternoon slot on 6 music. | up and comers Chikinki and Keane interspersed with greats like Captain Beefheart and Small Faces, as well as perennial favourites of Riley's; The Divine Comedy and Haven performing in session. It is also a welcome outlet for Riley to elaborate his jocular humour from the previously succinct but rapier-like dry wit unleashed in his previous incarnation as "Lard". Upcoming guests include Gomez, Supergrass and Belle and Sebastian. A veritable feast for any connoisseur of music. Riley surely should be applauded. He's found himself a happy home. Craig Aston.
